There are perfectly good ways of describing this spacetime which extend beyond this point. Physical stresses or strains don’t become infinite as a free-falling observer passes by r=2MG/c², there’s no violent bump in the road. 1110

Anything crossing into the region r<2MG/c² must move further inward and can never return to the outside. This region of no return is behind an “event horizon”. 1131
