As someone who cared for my elderly mom for over a decade, I was astounded when I heard Kennedy once say that it was ridiculous to pay someone for balancing someone’s checkbook, or going grocery shopping for them. Talk about a clueless idiot! It is a totally life-encompassing endeavor.
