I’m kind of shocked that I was able to clear Stygian with these builds. I expected at least another week of farming to finish leveling talents. #原神 #StygianOnslaught

My first team was 7 cost, with Nicole and Lohen on their signature weapons. Lohen was the onfield driver to ensure the team had enough cryo application to handle the enemy’s shield mechanic, Odette enabled the stellar glimmer reaction, Miko did the damage, and Nicole sustained, buffed atk, and enabled Lohen’s Hexerei passive.

My second team was 4 cost; Fischl was on Elegy but that was my only 5* weapon. It was pretty tricky to run the team without Nicole, but Chevreuse’s buffs were still enough for Arlecchino to win.

My third team was 5 cost, with Ineffa and Columbina on their signature weapons. Flins had the ever trusty Skyward Spine. This node was extremely easy since I had the exact team the boss was promoting.

Odette has a skill level of 5 and she’s only 79/80, because I didn’t finish farming for her before Stygian season began and I spent all my resin on artifacts instead. I also haven’t leveled the craftable sword I intend to give her, so she’s holding The Alley Flash as a placeholder. It performed extremely well due to its high base atk and the r5 boosting its passive, but I’m still going to farm for that craftable sword for her.

White Tassel is an underrated weapon for Arlecchino and I even prefer it over my Ballad of the Fjords since the latter’s passive doesn’t work on a Chevreuse team. Despite her talents being leveled no higher than 5, she still destroyed the second node due to the enemy’s debuff serving as a massive buff to her damage output.

Her artifacts could be better, but she frankly didn’t need good artifacts to win the fight. The actual challenge of that fight was dodging the enemy’s attacks without losing too much DPS. Ideally I would have put Nicole on her team instead of Chevreuse, but I needed Nicole on Lohen’s team.

Some other builds worth noting. I didn’t even level Nicole’s artifacts all the way. I’m largely happy with Durin’s build, but his crit rate and ER are a little low. Lohen needs another talent level or two, and also to stop sharing artifacts with Varka.

Nicole’s artifacts SHOULD have been fully leveled, but…I forgot to check. Aside from that, it’s a pretty standard Nicole build. Skyward Atlas is almost as good as her sig, so only pull her sig if you love her. I…thought it was cute..

The standard F2P/budget weapon for Durin is gonna be Lion’s Roar, but if you have refinements on Moonweaver’s Dawn, it can be an excellent premium 4* option.

Ah, Lohen. You managed to clear even though your skill is only level 8. Good job, buddy.

I actually wasn’t even planning to get Lohen to begin with, but I lost the 50/50 to Disaster and Remorse when pulling for Mavuika’s claymore. After I spent my pulls securing her guaranteed claymore, I had a handful of pulls left over and figured I might as well roll Lohen’s 50/50, since losing to his weapon meant I was committing to pull him eventually anyway. He’s actually surprisingly strong and versatile!
