The Conservative Party, especially the form it takes under Pierre Poilievre, shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the levers of power.

I feel there’s a walking-on-egg-shell attitude from the cbc due to defunding threat and some public sentiments over MSM from the USA. And the rest just follow suite. This + CPC media control let to imbalanced coverage on LPC and that also angers people.

The history of this party since the Canadian Alliance merged with the PC’s has been problematic in far more ways than simply its relationship with media, which has always been adversarial. The merger was a disaster for the PC’s and has become a threat to the country.

We need more media journalism/criticism in Canada. Can't just be a podcast that cherry picks issues based on its founders ideology. These companies like Bell Media and PostMedia going out of their way to boost Polievre should face more questions themselves.

The media have done the public a disservice by continuing to try to cover Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives like any other party and constantly saying they’re not the same as Trump so as not to piss of Conservative MPs and leadership that shows constant disdain for media.
