In Jambalaya, Yeye Luisah Teish wrote, “New Orleans—like San Francisco Bay, where I now live—is a psychic seaport.”
I’ve never heard the Bay Area likened to NOLA when it comes to spirituality. Anyone in the Bay have thoughts about this? I’m intrigued!
