I just played 50cc Knock-Out tour without doing any boosting whatsoever... that means no drift boosts, jump boosts etc... and I just... coasted... Every other cpu racer was just "let the poor kid go... he's had it tough today"... I can't believe that worked... Doubt it's the same for 100cc/150cc lol

The original was programmed in a way that picked 2 npcs to be better than the rest and they would speed up beyond normal limits to keep up with the player, they would also ignore terrain and hazards, if current versions still do something similar the npcs might be very lazy if they are keeping up
