Seulement Moi @seulementmoi.bsky.social · 10/02/2026i have pretty much stopped donating to super pacs entirely (with the exception of one to reform redistricting). only candidates, local dem groups, etc. 030
Mike @neejix.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Democrats did this to themselves by letting consulting firms run wild as middlemen, and candidates were only getting single digit percentages of funds donated. No one wants to give to consultancies. They broke voters’ trust and people are tired of handing over cash without knowing where it goes. 031
trump is destroying the country @sooriclover.bsky.social · 10/02/2026The maga inc part of it, the largest part, is trump’s pac and I’m skeptical of how much he’s willing to part with 020
Van DeYolks @vandeyolks.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Republicans spending giant piles of rich people getting richer’s money isn’t going to induce some mass amnesiac stupor though. We’re all living under an entirely republican-run federal government and it kinda sucks for most of us in most ways. 000
John Allen, Sr. @jjaesqffc.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Millions of grassroots Democratic donors are holding back until primary elections determine who the Democratic candidates for congress will be in the general election. They will contribute directly to the candidates, partially because money going to PACs often is wasted, by and on "consultants". 030
Shoshanah in Alaska @shanahstone.bsky.social · 11/02/2026So what are they gonna do with all that money? Run commercials showing DHS and ICE goons terrorizing women and children and family separation? Maybe some explanation about why Republicans support pedophiles and sex trafficking. Or people who are enjoying the Trump economy? 000
Jeff W 🌮 @jaydub2099.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Yeah but how much of the Republican cash is going to directly to line trump's pockets? 000
Ben Abrahamse @babrahamse.bsky.social · 10/02/2026All the money in the world won't make people not fucking hate you 040
Elián González @eliangonzalez.bsky.social · 10/02/2026That goes far to explain how Dem candidates in safe Republican areas are winning special elections. 010
Oldguy @oldbutnotdeadyet.bsky.social · 10/02/2026So far, in the special elections, that cash advantage and spend has not helped the GOP. Let's hope it continues. 0162
Janet 🌊🌊🌊 @watson16.bsky.social · 11/02/2026All that money didn't work for the Republicans in the recent special elections. Didn't work for Musk in WI. 000
Funkdafied 🌻🐸 ✊🏼📢⚖️ @pretefunkera.bsky.social · 10/02/2026It seems donations are going directly to candidates instead of the groups. 090
Ellz @ellz.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Oh, that expensive ad was gorgeous !... I am suddenly an amoral red hatted GOP voter 030
JTDC @jtdc.bsky.social · 10/02/2026I dunno, reminding everyone who hates you and all you stand for that they can fire you seems like a poor plan overall, and that's what Republicans spend their cash on so..... 000
Rep John Chungus (D-NY27) @sorocchungus2.bsky.social · 10/02/2026I think it would be very funny if all that money does not amount to a hill of beans 020
Sterling Hammer @sterlinghammer.com · 10/02/2026Assuming Trump spends this cash. So far he seems uninterested in doing so. 010
Heathen @heathensoldier.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Yeah, keep telling yourself billionaire money passed to billionaires somehow makes voters not feel reality. Ask Elon how that works. 000
Ernie Johnston @erniejohnston.bsky.social · 11/02/2026What #Democrats need to do, imo, is call out EVERY #Republican LIE. Not as often as they spend money on TV ads to promote said lie, but often enough that voters hear the truth. This counter should not require as much funding. 000
