I see this on fan wikis (lookin' at you Kanzenshuu!), and I think it's just eager beavers trying to connect dots in the lore. It would be convenient if the anonymous SSJ from 1000years ago was the God Saiyan from Battle of Gods, and Toriyama gave him a name in an interview, so 2+2=5, right?
