Agreed. It also involves a group of ppl saying that your work is brilliant and matters, and another group of ppl saying that your work is worthless, and you hope that the former group is larger than the latter group 😂

You can describe it, but it’s like an embodied experience that’s very hard to help people really understand. There’s no analog.
