Deleting my Twitter media posts one by one and... rewriting one of my poems by hand. More to come. It feels like breathing again. #amwriting #poetry

Poem written by hand on paper in maroon ink with gold shimmer, a rainbow metal pen below the writing. Poem is copyrighted to Tanya Kan. No reproductions, re-postings, or AI use permitted.

Poem reads:
"An autopsy over old wounds
A riot of colour was once
Here
(In a moment called tenderness)
Voices raised in counterpoint
You said you were once happy to see us
Grateful, fistful, all our eyes bright.
Now
There's four walls, fences, rotating marches,
No more arterial talks, no circulation,
Cutting me from you."
