Visiting London from Canada, I was impressed at how well the 20mph thing worked. At home, our 50kph (30mph) limit is seen as an absolute minimum by most. Captain Canada (Doug Ford) has had all the speed cameras removed, too. It can be lawless on the road sometimes.
