The back cover of a paper back edition of John Wilkinson’s “Egeria’s travels”, published by Aris and Phillips limited.

The relevant bit is the obvious typo in their blurb for the forthcoming:

“JERUSALEM PILRIMS BEFORE THE CRUSADES
This companion volume which has long been out of print continues the story of pilgrimage to the Holy Land from Egeria to the crusades.”

I’m pretty sure they mean “of a Christian pilgrimage to the Holy Land,” which is broadly true (it’s certainly the first one of any substance,” but the editing/ proof reading is absolutely abysmal.
