Hawks 101 @iahawks101.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Hank Brown was perfect against UNI, completing all 12 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns. His 100% completion percentage tied the Iowa record, joining Brad Banks, who went 10-for-10 against Northwestern in 2002. 172
fishgutzombies @fishgutzombies.bsky.social · 25/09/2026I never understood why Ferentz didn’t ever return to the Brad Banks archetype at quarterback. Banks worked so well with Iowa’s schemes and personnel. The closest was a one and done rental of Gronowski last season. I don’t know why Ferentz has insisted on the prototype pocket passer instead. 100
Hawks 101 @iahawks101.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Drew Tate was a little bit like Banks. I think it comes from his NFL background where Dan Marino/Drew Bledsoe is the prototype. 100
