13) The End of Evangelion (watched 05-09) A masterfully crafted punch to the face. I never want to see this again.

Film poster for The End of Evangelion, featuring Asuka and Shinji at the end of everything.

This film makes me sick and makes me want to choke someone

14) The Wheel of Time (book series, started 07-28-23, finished 05-24-26) I'm not able to summarize life-changing 14 books and a novella in 2 posts, but I'll try I love that a relatively straightforward high fantasy adventure opens up into a complex and weird world of dualism and choice

The world is colorful and varied, like Thom Merrilin's patchy coat, but holds a lot of depth and intrigue under the colorful exterior, much like the gleeman himself. If you enjoy high fantasy and want LotR but more, go read this. Ty @sarabwyvern.bsky.social for introducing me!
