I don't understand why you would release Spiral at exactly the same time as Ring when the beginning of Spiral literally begins after the events of Ring and follows the deaths of the two previous main characters. #folkhorrorfriday This is a much slower and more thoughtful film than Ring. I can see why it wouldn't have done as well. I don't think it lacks personality, but it focuses more on drama than horror, at least two thirds in. #folkhorrorfriday Sad piano and crying sex? Not quite sure how we got here, but this movie wants to fuck more than the first one, that's for sure. #folkhorrorfriday
