Cronenberg sure took umbrage with the medical establishment. The first three of these movies I've gone back to watch all have questionable medical or psychiatric institutions of some kind that feature prominently in their plotlines. #thebrood #mjrfilms The inimitable Howard Shore lending his talents, though so far this hasn't had all that much music to speak of. Lots of dialogue, this one is quite talky and rather slow outside of the one murder so far. #thebrood #mjrfilms Samantha Eggar putting in some real intense work in this one. She's way scarier even than the little monster kid running around bludgeoning people to death. Her eyes are *wild*. #thebrood #mjrfilms
