It’s fine for a country to designate an official first language. It’s just the childish and ridiculous way that it’s done is so indicative of the current administration.

This comes after three young men wearing MAGA hats attacked two men for speaking Spanish. The EO will embolden more MAGA to become vigilantes and act out on this issue.
