It's a pleasure to welcome The University of Manchester Library to the @ojcollective.bsky.social ! We look forward to partnering with them to build a sustainable future for diamond journal publishing.

University of Manchester Library joins the Open Journals Collective.

We are delighted to announce that the University of Manchester Library has joined the Open Journals Collective. The University of Manchester Library has invested in our Multidisciplinary collection of journals, and we are very grateful for their support. The OJC is dedicated to transforming the way that academic research is supported and disseminated, and the support of Manchester will be instrumental in helping us achieve our objectives of making journals free to read and publish in, offering a viable alternative to commercial transformative agreements, and empowering journals to flip to diamond open access.
