ain’t done this in a hot minute, but i’ve been talking a big game about this Breylo3 fic so here’s a lil snippet for #reylosss 👀 (ok so it’s technically 6+3 bonus sentences, but y’all deserve the extra ✨deets✨) #reylo #reylofic #breylofic

Screenshot of a few sentences of text from a Reylo (Breylo) fanfiction by AQuill2Thrill:

“There’s an old saying that Han, Lando, and Chewie like to toss around when something doesn’t go quite according to plan. Got a damn spanner in the works, or something to that effect. They use it for everything, from losing a bet on their favorite sports team to complaining about the government. Basically, it’s a phrase Matt, Ben, and Kylo have heard a million times over the course of their lives, one of a billion weird-old-man-sayings they’ve mocked and snickered about and never taken seriously.

Until now, that is. Like right this actual fucking second.

Because right now, as Rey Johnson, goddess at the center of their universe, stares up at the Solo triplets from the pristinely carpeted floor of Han and Leia’s basement, eyes wide and shining like she can’t believe her devoted worshippers have achieved sentience, now is when the phrase comes barreling to the forefront of Matt’s mind, wholly unbidden but completely and unironically true.

This is it. Now they’ve done it.

Got a damn spanner in the works.”
