I would defend the Bolt here on multiple counts, but setting that aside: unfortunately disastrous. Nissan has sold only 2300 units YTD. Both cars deserved far better. www.reddit.com/r/electricve...

The Leaf has an ongoing recall - something to do with fixing the rear seatbelts to make them safe to hold a baby seat - only the parts to fix it weren't actually available yet (and still might not be). I got mine in May, then the recall happened and I heard on Reddit that Nissan basically cannot

legally sell new Leafs until the parts come in and they can fix the rear seatbelts. And it's been for months that this has been going on. (I need to call my local dealership and see if I can get mine fixed yet.)
