Ethan Kocak @ethankocak.com · 13/10/2026I suspect he knows on some level his situation improved after he came to live with me and that I’ve never forced interaction on him. He does sometimes forget because he goes into “feeding mode” and I have to let him smell me for a second to register it’s me. 1300
Ethan Kocak @ethankocak.com · 13/10/2026I am generally not the type to anthropomorphize my animals’ behaviors. I don’t/can’t know what he’s thinking, but having worked with many animals, he seems to be curious and aware. Lizards perceive things differently from other animals. 1300
