Melissa Wong @favomancer.bsky.social · 30/09/2026The Singaporean Malay name for the house gecko, "cicak", is also onomatopoeia. And I grew up with them cute little guys everywhere in the flat. Sometimes we'd find dried out eggshells in crevices and know that a baby cicak was currently roaming the place eating ants and other smol bugs. 1243
