I was out exploring the woods the other afternoon and this massive bracket fungus caught my eye right at ground level. It was practically wrestling its way through a thick tangle of ivy and green grass. buff.ly/HtOzmlR #photography #Nature #Woodland #Fungi #ForestFloor #mycology

A top-down close-up photo of a large, tiered bracket fungus growing close to the ground. The mushroom caps form an overlapping, scalloped semicircular rosette with undulating, wavy pale edges and a soft brown, textured surface. Dark green leaves of common ivy, blades of woodland grass, and patches of green moss weave naturally through and around the fungus. The lighting is soft and diffused, creating a calm, natural, and earthy forest floor atmosphere.
