I always felt that it was more important to get the base game feel more replayable before introducing new characters. New characters don't really bring that much new to playthroughs, just some minor changes. 4401 0

If the game reach a new state with a better baseline for the mechanics and systems and a different meta, then new characters aren't necessary to make things feel fresh and new. Plus the new characters won't have to be redesigned and reworked for the changes later ! 020 0
