Disagree. Large swaths of asphalt *should* be shaded, as it radiates stored up heat from the daytime, contributing to the urban heat dome (making cities significantly drier) and reducing nighttime temps, making cities in summer more livable. Solar panels on parking lots make TONS of sense.
