There's even a Stream Deck plugin for Home Assistant. I can flip lights on or turn off the AC from a Stream Deck or my phone or my desktop, and not one company gets a single subscription dime out of me or my data to harvest for me to do it. And thanks to techbros it took an extra fifteen years.
