E is fricking tired @ej5049a.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I unloaded the car and counted out 26 boxes, each 40 lbs net weight. For those with calculators, it is 1040 lbs of beans. A full ton. So. Many. Beans. Each box had 6 bags of beans. (9/16) 100
E is fricking tired @ej5049a.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Fortunately we happened to have some freezer space and very large coolers while I tried to find someone to take these beans. Friday after I couldn't find a single place that could take so many beans, I posted on Facebook buy nothing groups, and texting neighbors. (10/16) 100
E is fricking tired @ej5049a.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Starting about 4pm, I had a steady stream of neighbors coming by and buy nothing folks taking 40 lb boxes of beans. Shout out to one neighbor who took 3 boxes and sent over a friend to get some too. A couple mutual aid folks were able to grab 4 boxes each. (11/16) 110
