sometimes I wonder how much this "I'm 23, I have no common ground with a 18yo!" is influenced by culture.
Like yesterday I saw someone saying they were friends with a 27 yo as a 19 yo and it worked quite well although the 27 yo had passed the stages of becoming a full adult like buying a home...
