softlifesuccubus.bsky.social @softlifesuccubus.bsky.social · 09/10/2026George Floyd’s public execution sparked the largest worldwide protests in history. Please do not erase these people whose shoulders Renee and Alex stand on, who taught us how to stand up and fight back. 193
softlifesuccubus.bsky.social @softlifesuccubus.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I get that these posts are in good faith but they feel really strange when we just spent the last ten+ years watching dozens of Black deaths basically live streamed, and I don’t get the impulse to erase those people like they weren’t shot dead by the same new slave catchers. 161
softlifesuccubus.bsky.social @softlifesuccubus.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Erasure is racism. Disappearing people is a strategy of white supremacy, from Native reservations to redlining to ICE camps. We cannot disappear each other even in our minds and hearts. If you wouldn’t do it to Alex, don’t do it to George. Thank you. 🙏🏻 191
