I'm devastated to hear about the passing of longtime Xbox exec Albert Penello from cancer. He was an incredibly sweet, enthusiastic guy who loved games and loved building consoles at Xbox. Here's an old Unlocked episode with him on the origins of the Xbox One X: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMKq...

Albert Penello showcases the original Need for Speed game on Computer Chronicles, doing a spectacular job using live gameplay in what was ultimately a very tight section of the show. #nfs #needforspeed #retrogaming #computerchronicles @bsky.app has a 60s limit. Full vid: youtu.be/JPNTd16fDqI

Not how you want to start the new year. Condolences to all who knew him. That said, Xbox One X was my entry point to the platform. Being a PS/Nintendo guy at the time, getting my first Xbox felt like a kid with too many toys to play with.
