Sadly the conclusion from US policy makers is that Chinese firms must have "cheated", justifying massive tariffs instead of forming partnerships to learn from them. The "China bad" strategy to spur climate action doesn't really work.
I’m convinced that the only way to get rich countries to act on climate is to pose it as a competition with China.
