Day 18: Gustave Decided the unfinished aesthetic wasn't working for me, at least on the back of the model. So covered with black to match and will paint properly. The front still looks kinda cool, so may retain the unfinished look there #minipainting #modelpainting #hobbystreak #3dprinting #e33

Day 19: Gustave Some detail work: -dry brush brown on shoulder pad -redid silver pin stripe on lapel -dry brushed black at sharp angle to tidy said stripe on lapel -dry brush grey on lapel. I also keep screwing up the silver detail on his shawl lol huge skill issue #hobbystreak #minipainting

Day 20: Gustave Still picking away at various details Carefully applied silver/gold pin stripes on shawl and then tidied up over-paint using a mix of nuln oil + water + paint. Cleans lines well when a model has sculpted contours to follow. Also did left lapel. #hobbystreak #minipainting #art
