Mark Misoshnik @misoshnik.bsky.social · 20/08/2026In New York City, you're only eligible for SNAP if you earn less than ~$24k/year assuming you don't get any disability benefits, which means you need to make LESS THAN MINIMUM WAGE TO QUALIFY. If you work full time, you would be earning ~$27k/year, with more than half going to rent + no assistance. 15511

I've had to work with 3 different attorneys and file multiple appeals at the state & federal level just to get my case SEEN, let alone accepted. I'm looking at another year minimum before I even know if they'll look at my case again. 1374
