A fascist took over Twitter and is turning it into a tool for fascist propaganda — and elected Democrats are acting as if nothing has changed. Musk is a MAGA Republican and X is a MAGA network. If you wouldn’t appear on Fox or Truth Social, you shouldn’t appear on X. Its come to that point.

Nitpicking here, but I don’t think Musk has shown himself to be a MAGA republican. He is not a Trump cultist. I think he is very hard right. But I think he falls closer to the Rand Pauls of the worlds — bigoted assholes who believe “fuck you, I got mine” is the only way to live life.

BTW here’s a thought experiment: Supposing Musk walked around with a Nazi arm band. Would the large accounts “remain” on X? So I guess as long as he walks and talks like a Nazi but shows no outward sign of sympathizing with Nazis, we’re good!

It’s really puzzling how brilliant and intellectually gifted folks with huge X followings just suspend all moral reckoning and “remain to fight” or do what? They persuade no one there and help keep an avowed racist & Nazi solvent. I’m sure I’m missing something?!
