And a lot of times the answer is actually "I don't do anything about it, I just power through for the sub and then recharge on my own time later" And like, I get it, I understand why that's generally the one that people tend to land on. But also isn't it kind of sad? Just a little?

Of the dynamics I've talked to who say that they lean towards the first, when they'll actively call for low energy breaks or just intentional lulls in the activity levels, those dynamics tend to be very very high veterancy in the kink community. People who have had a lot of practice.

But the more common one is the second; "I'm going to power through because I'm not burnt out." And you'll get this from dommes who *will tap out when they're burnt out*. You'll get this from dommes who know when enough is enough and when they need to prioritize their mental health.
