In denial. Probably. I don't know for sure because I'm in denial. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong, I'm scared of making missteps

They named it wrong. It shouldn't be "Microsoft Outlook" It should be "Look out! Microsoft!"

Hey @grok. What's the proper legal response for possible defamation of a falsely accused DDOS posted on a github gist and live website?

I have very little experience with reverse engineering. Fortunately the authors of this app decided to go easy on me
A tree list of Java classes, showing packages with names like "com.pairip.licensecheck" and "com.scottyab.rootbeer". The package named "com.teamsystem.tsmobileseclib" is expanded, showing the classes it contains: "DebuggerDetection", "EmulatorDetection", "HookDetection", "RootDetection", "SecurityChecker", "StackChecker", and "TamperDetection".
Under the "com" package group, a package named "defpackage" is expanded, showing classes named "a", "a0", "a00", "a01", and more, thus proving that something was obfuscated/packed/whatever, but for some reason they skipped the important bits

Excuse me how the FUCK am I supposed to tell what's going on here
Google reCAPTCHA requesting that I "Select all images with a bus". Four out of the nine images (the first and last two) have been run through some kind of "comic-book-ifying" filter like they were someone's social media post. These filtered images are therefore even harder to comprehend than normal

The Italian "registered email" protocol (PEC) wraps every message so that they look like this in the inbox. They are just training people to fall for scams
From line of an email message, which reads: "Per conto di: noreply@certificata.notifichedigitali.it <posta-certificata@sicurezzapostale.it>".
"Per conto di" translates to "On behalf of"; this is an email from the address "posta-certificata@sicurezzapostale.it" which self-reported its name as "On behalf of noreply@certificata.notifichedigitali.it"

My mind is in the gutter
"LE COQ" "PORCELAINE".
Those two pieces of black serif text are on a matte white background wrapped around a logo that looks somewhat like a rooster.

Absolutely unacceptable. I am appalled. This is disgusting. Etc.
Splash screen with "Dell Technologies" logo, "Dell SupportAssist" caption, "We're still working on it." status text, circular loading spinner, and copyright and version information. All elements are aligned to an imaginary central vertical line, except for the "Dell SupportAssist" caption which is slightly offset to the left.

This remote goes right into the expansion port for easy storage!
A flat remote with cheap and crappy membrane buttons partially sticking out of a laptop's PCMCIA slot. It gets narrower about halfway down its length. The visible buttons include power, generic up/down, transport controls, a d-pad with central OK button, and input selections (DVD, music).

They re-added desktop tabs to mobile Firefox! I missed them
Screenshot of Firefox running on an Android tablet. The currently open page is example.com. At the top of the screen, a tabbed interface similar to a desktop web browser is visible. The current tab is the second of two. The other tab is titled "Tab (interface) - Wikipedia" with a Wikipedia favicon.

Screenshot of the "App battery usage" menu for the "Meta Services" app on an Android phone. The "Allow background usage" option is enabled and grayed out, with a caption reading "This app requires unrestricted battery usage."

Definitely the most important picture type
Screenshot of an opened combo box labelled "Picture Type". The following options are visible: "Composer", "Lyricist/text writer", "Recording Location", "During recording", "During performance", "Movie/video screen capture", "A bright coloured fish", "Illustration", "Band/artist logotype", "Publisher/Studio logotype". The current selection is "A bright coloured fish", which is also highlighted in the list.

I don't usually feel nostalgia too much, but today at work I was making an installer and got hit with it when I opened the theme selector
An installer that looks like the Windows XP OOBE, with a dark grey background gradient and a customized grey title barAn installer with text on the left and space for an image on the right. The top banner and left column have a background that goes from very dark violet to light blue with a wavy background that reminds me of Microsoft SilverlightAn installer that looks like the Windows XP OOBE, with a dark blue lightly wavy background that reminds me of Windows Vista, plus a customized dark blue title barAn installer window with a white background and a lavender-colored wave design at the bottom, enclosing the Back and Next buttons on opposite sides of the view
