By the time the pain ends, you feel like you've been emptied of everything you have. You feel like the pain has washed away everything that makes you you, and all that you have left is your name and the relief that at least you're not in pain anymore. At least you're done for now.

You don't know how long your life becomes a blur of ebbs and flows of pain. Between the crushing waves of torment, you're thrown into a dark, featureless cell and left to the silence. That dark storm is your only companion. The growing rage seeping into the back of your mind, slowly spreading.

One day you're sobbing, breathing through the last wave of pain, gritting your teeth and holding onto that anger like a lifeline when she comes in front of you, closer than she ever has before. She cups your chin and forces you to look at her. She smiles so sweetly, so lovingly, and kisses you.
