You don't. Or at least, you don't think you do. Something about the way the metal shines against the lighting brings something back in you and you feel that spike of panic rising within your core again. Your subconscious mind is screaming at you about a danger you don't fully understand. "No?"

Neural patterns? Patterns stopping? You don't really understand, but that panic... that lingering, cold, sharp panic edging into the back of your brain. That panic painted like a silver barrel spattered in bright red. A flash of fire and pink mist. That moment of deafening sound and static.
