Through no fault of his own, my colleague has ended up with a 52” monitor at work. He’s a writer. The monitor blocks the view of the person in the next workstation. We have agreed that the only thing that eould be more annoying is if it were a sci-fi transparent touch display 😜

Completely sidestepping the excellent point but the actors on Minority report said that all the scenes with them manipulting the interface were exhausting. It was very pretty but entirely impractical.
